Tobago MDA is our highly pragmatic code generator that imports UML models (from XMI) and applies a small textual domain specific language to allow to generate code and other deliverables from text templates.
One small but useful feature in Tobago MDA is the use of
markings. A marking is a tag that can be used in templates to facilitate e.g. standard text on buttons or default page title in generated web pages. When the actual code is generated e.g. from a use case, actor or class the marking is replaced by the actual text, which can be stored per project and can be manually added using the Tobago MDA user interface.
